Director of Coaching

John Jacob

Coached at University Of Saint Francis. Played soccer for the National Soccer League from 1975 through 1990. John's first Club was "Fighta Rams Soccer  Fighta RamsSoccer club was one of the first German club in Chicago area that started in 1914. Later John transferred to "Chicago Winged Bull Soccer Club" . The Chicago Winged Bull soccer club is one of the top Clubs in the region and has won several National championships. Later John attended University of  Illinois at Chicago and played soccer there.

Benjamin Jacob

An active coach with the Juventus of  Shorewood for numerous years. One of the kids favorites. Carmine has developed and improved several youth soccer teams from low level to a high level of soccer. Carmine is originally from Bari, Italy, and has been exposed to a high level of soccer, his knowledge of the game is well exposed during training and actual games.

Ben has returned to us from Xavier University.  He is assisting and filling in as needed as both trainer and coach.


Jason Doyle

Jason Doyle


Jason started playing at age 9, for Shorewood Soccer League. He later joined clubs in Dalton and Frankfort. He trained with Lewis University Flyers in the summers of 1988 and 1989. In 1990, he  earned a spot on Team USA, traveling Europe, training with and playing top-level European teams, Jason joined Juventus in 2011.

Shannon Meyer

Shannon Meyer


Shannon has been coaching youth coed soccer at u10, u8 and u6 levels for several years. She has a national "E" level coaching license from the USSF. Her experience with youth outdoor, indoor, futsal, and 4v4 tournament soccer is a welcome addition to our lineup of youth coaches. Shannon's focus within our club will be in developing our youth girls into confident, versatile players and team leaders who are prepared to compete at upper levels.
